Young Entrepreneur/Creekside Resident Owen Runs Mo & Co Soaps
Owen and his family live in Creekside. In August 2021 he created Mo & Co Soaps with his friend Mikie.
Mikie and Owen are high school students interested in business who wanted to create a great practical natural product. Their mission statement is simple: produce a product that smells great, provides excellent quality at a reasonable price, uses no unnecessary ingredients, and makes a difference in the world.
The Mo & Co product range includes soaps with traditional scents like vanilla, lavender, and rose but also includes unique combinations like their Telluride Trail soap that incorporates bergamot, oakwood, musk, and oak moss. All of their soaps are vegan and contain no more than six natural ingredients. And for those with sensitive skin or sensitive noses, their unscented Basic Bar contains four simple ingredients: saponified coconut oil, olive oil, shea butter, and distilled water.
Mo & Co donates a portion of each sale and makes product donations to community organizations.
Perhaps Owen and Mikie can be convinced to set up a table at the Block Party in August?
