JUNE IS FINALLY HERE! With it, we see more kids running around the neighborhood and lots of home improvement and yard work underway. It’s exciting to see all the green and flowers return!
Please don’t forget the following HOA dates:
04 June – This is the joint Creekside and Rainbow Ridge Garage sale! You may see the blue signs at the entrances. Join in and if you have something to sell (or buy!!) we’ll see you out there Saturday. More information about the Garage Sale can be found here.
15 June – Town Hall at 6:30-8:30 to discuss the new consolidated covenants, to be held at the American Legion Post 32 in Longmont. This will not be a discussion of other HOA business. The only agenda item is the consolidated and updated covenants. A revision of our covenants is needed to merge all the filings under one document and to be compliant with state law. This is all being run through an HOA attorney that ensures the covenants are compliant with state law, but unfortunately, the service is NOT free. Your HOA Board is working diligently to minimize legal fees but the longer this takes, the more it will cost. More information about the proposed consolidated covenants and the Town Hall can be found here.
If there are concerns or questions about non-covenant items, please email the board and we will get back to you soon.
27 August – Annual Meeting! Save the date! We will hold the annual meeting in conjunction with a block party in the usual cul-de-sac on Ridgeview Drive. More information about the Annual Meeting/Neighborhood Block Party can be found here. In addition to the election of officers and directors, we will also approve next year’s budget at the annual meeting. It should be a fun time and bring the kids, we will have some activities for them as well! We need volunteers so please email us to help! We are looking for nominations for directors and we have an immediate need for a treasurer. If anyone wants to step up now, please contact us immediately.
Finally, the one piece of business that’s no fun for anyone: The HOA Board is sending out violation warning notices to those homes that are in violation of HOA covenants for a significant period of time to include complaints from other neighbors. If you receive a warning letter, please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss it. We want to help out our neighbors and not be the “hammer.” Our objective is to ensure the Creekside neighborhood looks nice yet we recognize that family situations, or other constraints on money or time can make it difficult to attend to matters around the house. If you reach out to us, we can help you!
Lastly: Calling all artists! If you’d like to have your art posted on the HOA website, please email the board your pic! Thank you and Happy Summer.
